#86: Finish a 1000 Piece Puzzle

What I've learned from this goal: Walmart has the worst puzzle selection! I didn't want to spend $10 on some hideous thing that I would put together for the goal and then never look at again. Luckily I have an awesome brother-in-law who let me borrow this one from him.
It only took me about 3 days of working on it when I had time. I really enjoy putting puzzles together, they just take up too much space to do them very often.

#90: Make an ornament for each of the Forgotten Carols

One of our family traditions in December is to read the book "The Forgotten Carols". Ever since we started this tradition I've been wanting to make ornaments to go along with the story, but it's taken me 6 years!
A lot of the ones I made this year are not permanent, but I did a quick temporary one so I could have something. I will improve them as I go.

#33: Take the Girls to Temple Square to See the Lights

On Dec. 17 we went up to Temple Square with Misty's family and my parents. We decided to ride Trax up there so we didn't have to deal with traffic. The kids were in HEAVEN! They all loved riding on the train!
The lights were beautiful! It was a little on the crowded side because we chose to go up one of the nights that the Tabernacle Choir was doing their Christmas concert, but it wasn't too bad.

The temple was beautiful, as always, and the kids enjoyed looking at the "castle".

We went to see the Christus. It was really crowded, but we managed to sneak up for a picture. This really impacted Holly. She is still talking about Jesus' owies and how we need to pray for him to get better. It was a great teaching moment, and also good to see it through a child's eyes.

Everybody by Trax before we left. It was a great night and I'm so glad that I made the goal so I was motivated to give the girls this experience.

#3: Do Not Eat Out for 1 Month

I did it!! It really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be! The hardest part was when Neil came home with Taco Bell for me because he forgot that I wasn't eating out. I was strong enough, however, to not eat it! Luckily my girls eat the same thing from Taco Bell that I do, so it wasn't wasted!
